Welcome, I\u2019m Ana<\/strong>, a qualified Psychologist with a degree in Psychology and formal training as a Psychotherapist. The decision to choose this path is deeply connected to my own story; psychology has always been an important part of my life, present at home and in my roots.<\/p>\n

I believe in providing an integrative therapeutic approach to my therapy sessions. I am currently specialized in systemic family therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and trauma (EMDR). My work explores not only the individual\u2019s challenges, but also the meaningful relationships in their life, such as the relationship with family, friends or partners, seeing the person as a whole.<\/p>\n

All this training allows me to support people with childhood wounds, emptiness feeling, life crises, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and relational or attachment dynamics. I chose to work exclusively online because I believe distance should never be an obstacle to receiving support when it\u2019s needed most. This allows me to support Spanish-speaking individuals anywhere in the world, regardless of time zone.<\/p>\n

Personally, after studying in Belgium and living in Australia, I have experienced firsthand the emotional challenges of being far from home. Being an expat not only involves adapting to a new culture and environment but also facing the emotional challenges that come up when someone is separated from his\/her roots. These experiences, while enriching, can also cause feelings of insecurity, loneliness or alienation.<\/p>\n
